Call for papers – IFIP EGOV2023

The Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary will host the annual IFIP EGOV2023 conference from 5th to 7th September 2023. The event will focus on a range of topics related to e-Government, including Digital Government, Open Government, Smart Government, GovTech, eParticipation and e-Democracy, as well as areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, smart cities, and social innovation.

Attendees can submit a variety of works, including completed research, ongoing research, reflections and viewpoints, posters, and workshops. The conference also features a PhD Colloquium, which offers limited bursaries for PhD students. The colloquium, which will take place on Monday, September 4th 2023, welcomes interdisciplinary and diverse research approaches, including conceptual, case study, survey, mixed, or other suitable methods.

Important dates

The IFIP 8.5 Working group (WG8.5) and the Digital Government Society (DGS) are the organizers of the conference. The goal of WG 8.5 is to enhance the quality of e-government information systems globally, nationally, regionally, and locally through interdisciplinary approaches. DGS, on the other hand, is a global, multi-disciplinary organization of scholars and practitioners concerned with the development and impact of digital government.
